Delete your account

Option 1 — from inside the app

• Open Luminary and sign in.
• Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
• Confirm your password and tap Delete permanently.

Your account is deactivated immediately and scheduled for permanent deletion.

Option 2 — by email

If you cannot access the app, send an email from the address registered to your account to privacy@luminary-app.com with the subject "Delete my Luminary account". We may ask you to confirm ownership before proceeding. Requests are completed within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your profile, email address and login credentials.
• All notes, drawings, uploaded files and AI study packets.
• Calendar events, study-debt records and focus session history.
• Messages you authored in chat groups, and your membership of those groups.
• Push notification tokens and device records.

What may be kept

• Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics that cannot identify you.
• Records we are legally required to keep (for example purchase records), for the period required by law.

Timeline

Data is removed from production systems within 30 days of your request and from encrypted backups within 90 days. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you only want a break, you can simply sign out and keep your account.
